The <a href="http://www.igi-global.com/ijossp">International Journal of Open Source Software and Processes</a>
launches a special issue about data and information mining, handling
and aggregation of open source artifacts, to build knowledge about the
open source phenomenon. The deadline is <b>June 15th 2010</b>.

Scope and Purpose

The objective of the Special Issue in Information and Data Handling of
Open Source Projects is dedicated to the open issue of handling, mining,
and aggregating information and data of open source artifacts to build
the knowledge on the open source phenomenon. The special issue
encourages a practice-based and holistic view that explores processes,
products, and resources distributed, managed, and exchanged with the
open source communities. The special issue also provides a forum for
exploring the use of data and measurement to understand, evaluate, and
model the open source phenomena.
